LT3680 power switching regulator

Using the LT3680 power switching regulator can be designed very simple power supplies with an adjustable frequency from 200kHz to 2.4MHz  . The LT3680 power switching regulator accepts input voltages up to 36V. LT3680 use current mode topology for fast transient response and good loop stability.
Low ripple Burst Mode operation maintains high efficiency at low output currents while keeping output ripple below 15mV in a typical application.

This switching regulator has an output voltage range from 0.79 V to 30 V on offer thermal protection , soft start capability  and many other features .The circuit require few external components and offer high efficiency in small package .
As you can see in application circuits the design is very simple requiring few components making it ideal for applications where space is critical.
