MCP9804 digital temperature sensor

Microchip Technology Inc. introduce the MCP9804 digital temperature sensor . MCP9804 temperature sensor can read temperatures between -40°C and +125°C and convert it in a digital data with high accuracy (±0.25°C typically , ±1°C maximum).

The MCP9804 comes with user-programmable registers which allow user-selectable settings such as shutdown or low-power modes temperature alert and other.

The MCP9804 sensor has an industry standard 100 kHz 2-wire SMBus/I2C compatible serial interface which  allow up to eight or sixteen sensors to be controlled with a single .

Main features of the MCP9804 digital temperature sensor are : high accuracy , user selectable measurement resolution ( 0.5°C, 0.25°C, 0.125°C, 0.0625°C ) , user programmable temperature limits  ,user programmable temperature alert output , operating voltage range ( 2.7V to 5.5V)  ,operating current: 200 μA (typical) , shutdown current  0.1 μA (typical) , 2-wire Interface: I2C/SMBus Compatible .

MAX9867 ultra-low power stereo audio codec

Maxim Semiconductor introduces the MAX9867 ultra-low power stereo audio codec designed for portable devices .

The MAX9867 operates using low voltage ( 1.8V supply ) and supports a 1.65V to 3.6V logic level. MAX9867 has an I2C 2-wire serial interface which allow control for volume levels, signal mixing, and general operating modes.

The MAX9867 has stereo differential microphone inputs that can be connected to either analog or digital microphones.The single-ended line inputs, with configurable preamplifier, can be sent to the ADC for record or routed directly to the headphone amplifier for playback.

The stereo headphone amplifiers support differential, single-ended, and capacitorless output configurations.

This architecture eliminates the need for an external PLL and multiple crystal oscillators.

The main features of the MAX9867 ultra-low power stereo audio codec are : 1.8V Single-Supply Operation , 6.7mW Playback Power Consumption ,  Battery-Measurement Auxiliary ADC , Support for Any Master Clock Between 10MHz to 60MHz , Stereo Digital Microphone Input Support , Stereo Analog Differential Microphone Inputs , Stereo Headphone Amplifiers(Differential,Single-Ended, or  Capacitorless) , Stereo Line Inputs , Voiceband Filter with a Stopband Attenuation Greater than 70dB.

ISL62875 single-phase synchronous buck PWM voltage regulator

Intersil introduces the ISL62875 single-phase synchronous buck PWM voltage regulator designed for portable application . The ISL62875 supports a wide range input voltage from 3.3V to 25V

The ISL62875 offer a output voltage range from 0.5V to 3.3 volts programmed using simple resistors .

The ISL62875 has a high system accuracy of ±0.75% at -10°C to +100°C .

The ISL62875 has a 500kHz fixed PWM frequency in continuous conduction  .
