TDA7386 audio power amplifier circuit
TDA7386 audio power amplifier circuit is a high power audio amplifier based on the TDA7386 which is an class AB audio power amplifier circuit, packaged in Flexiwatt 25 and designed for high end car radio applications.
The TDA7386 allows a rail to rail output voltage swing with no need of bootstrap capacitors. The TDA7386 require only few external components .
Maximum power which can be obtained with this audio amplifier IC is around 28 watts for one channel at 14.4 volts on 4 ohms load impedance .
If we will use a 13.2 volts power supply we can obtain a 24 watts output power (with 10 % THD ) on 4 ohms load impedance or 18 watts output power on the same load impedance ( with 0.8 THD ) .
This audio amplifier offer features like : standby function , Mute function , automute at min. supply voltage detection , Output short circuit to GND, to VS, across the load protection , Very inductive loads protection , overrating chip temperature with soft thermal limiter protection , reversed battery protection ,ESD protection .
