Electro muscular stimulator circuit

This electro muscular stimulator circuit is based on a 555 timer circuit. The transformer must be an 220 to 12 volts at 100-150 mA and is reverse connected in circuit.
LM555 generates pulses at 150usec, 80hz .
The output voltage of this 555 timer electro muscular stimulator circuit is about 60 volts positive and 150 volts negative but the output current is very small and there is no electric shock danger .

P1 potentiometer of bio-stimulator circuit it set the Output pulses' amplitude and should be operated by the "patient", starting with the knob fully counter-clockwise, then rotating it slowly clockwise until the LED starts to illuminate.
The functional principles of this bio-stimulator circuit is the same like the commercial bio-stimulator circuits.
